  • Addressed an unexpected quit in MacPractice if Optical was not purchased, but the ability was clicked in the toolbar. 

Patients - Account

  • Fixed an issue where MacPractice would unexpectedly quit when entering information into the Account Statement Message field.

  • Addressed an issue with the one-time message/account message fields in both the Patients - Account tab and the Statements Manager. 

Patients - Clinical

  • Corrected an issue that would prevent you from entering a decimal amount when localization preferences were set to Centimeters for height/length in the Vitals tab.

  • Addressed an issue that would print the incorrect tooth number on a Digital Radiography image print.

  • Addressed an issue when command clicking any objects after selecting the line measurement tool that was causing an unexpected quit.

Drawer

  • Corrected a sizing issue with the Drawer in Scheduling when the Report tab is selected. 

eClaims - NEA

  • Adjusted a Master ID Lookup error message to be more descriptive.

EHR

  • Addressed an issue that was causing an error to occur when importing older templates.

EMR/EDR - Patient Forms

  • Fixed an issue in EMR that was preventing entry in the unit field when adding in a procedure.

HL7

  • Added the ability to export EMR and EHR Patient Forms to an HIE.

Labs

  • Fixed an issue when clicking the Labs icon in the toolbar, Filter by Type was not defaulting to "Laboratory".

Ledger

  • Fixed an issue with Print Selected Transactions and Print Incident Statement on the ledger that was causing a "No transactions within that date range" error to appear.

Ledger - Print Menu

  • Corrected an issue that would cause an incident statement to print everything in the account despite having items selected to print.

  • Fixed an issue when printing Today's Transactions that would print all transactions on the account.

  • Addressed an issue where MacPractice would unexpectedly quit if you attempted to print an incident statement with 'Show Clinical Ledger' enabled in View Options. 

  • Corrected an issue that was causing charges to duplicate on statements when more than one diagnosis code is associated to the charge.

  • Addressed an issue that would allow you to adjust spacing, lists, fonts, etc. despite the note template being locked.

  • Addressed an issue with printing notes that have an image that is to be printed on all pages.

  • Addressed an issue when creating a Note Template containing an EHR narrative where the formatting would become slightly skewed for Patient, Gender, Birthdate fields. 

  • Corrected an issue where the locked and last update date of Notes included the date, but not the time.

  • Addressed an issue when pulling information to a note from allergy information in the Patients Ability > Clinical Tab when Preferences > Coding > Allergies were set to RxNorm.

  • Corrected an issue that was causing the margins on a patient note made from a note template to retain the margin size, so the next time a patient note is created from a template, it would remember that prior margin size.

  • Addressed an issue that was preventing a header or a footer from being added if the other was added first. For example, if header in the Notes > Text menu is checked, footer could not be added.

  • Corrected issues with using copy, cut and paste on note images.

  • Addressed an issue that was invalidating print margin settings when a margin was set below .5 inches.

  • Corrected an issue that was causing a new Notes image to appear to have a limitless number of characters to name it, but when saved, the name would truncate to the invisible limit.

New Feature - References > Favorites: MacPractice now has the ability to create a Favorites list for Diagnoses (ICD 9 or ICD 10). The selection of diagnoses can now be customized to emphasize diagnoses your office commonly works with, and also provides the ability to add outdated ICD-10 codes for purposes of record-keeping.

New Elements - EMR/EDR - There are four new elements within EMR (Chief Complaint, Clinical Instructions, Smoking Status, Immunizations) There is also Diagnoses & Billing (replacing the Care Slip Element) which encompasses Encounter Diagnosis as well as creating orders for your biller to input into the Ledger.
