Rosetta is an app that effectively translates application instructions that are designed for Intel processors to a format that is used by Apple's Silicon M1 and M2 processors. It functions in the background and simply facilitates MacPractice's ability to run on the new processors.

You can read more about this subject in Apple's provided documentation here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211861

So Rosetta is safe to install on my computer?

Rosetta absolutely is a safe, Apple-provided application. You are safe to install it, and it is required in order to use MacPractice on the newer processors.
