MacOS Sequoia Compatibility Tracker
Current Status:
MacOS Sequoia was released on Monday, September 23.
We’ve determined that Build 16.3 of MacPractice should be friendly with Sequoia.
You may experience issues while we fully test MacOS Sequoia to establish solid compatibility, but if you need to purchase hardware, Build 16.3 and up can be used with MacOS Sequoia.
However, it is important to note that for Digital Radiography devices, specifically Planmeca and Acteon devices are not compatible with MacOS Sequoia. Please confirm that Sequoia drivers are available from your DR device vendors prior to updating.
Stay tuned for future updates as we establish compatibility with the new MacOS version. In the meantime, we recommend disabling automatic MacOS updates.
Current Issues:
In MacOS Sequoia (15.1), there’s a new Privacy & Security > Local Network option in System Settings that controls whether applications can find and communicate with devices on the local network.
You’ll want to make sure that MacPractice is enabled in this section. Local Network access will need to be granted on both the Server computer and any client computers running Sequoia.
