Updox Printer

Updox Printer

Any item that can be printed from MacPractice or other application may be uploaded to the Faxing module to be sent electronically.

If you do not have the Updox printer set up, please refer to Updox's support documentation on how to configure the Updox printer here. You'll need to scroll down to the bottom to find Updox Printer, and you'll need to create an account to access their materials on their Community page.

When the Updox Printer is set up, you can print any item to the Updox printer by selecting Updox as the printer when the printing prompt appears when printing an item.

The first time you select the Updox Printer and print from it, you may be prompted for a Username and Password. While this appears to be a macOS system prompt, this is actually prompting you to input your Updox Username and Password. We strongly recommend you check the "Remember this password in my keychain" checkbox to ensure you only have to do this once.
