Medication Data Pull Fields
The Medication table allows you to list data from the patient's Medication records (found under the Medication node of the Rx ability). Unless otherwise noted, the name of the pull field is the name of the field in the patient's medication record.
Date: Date the medication was entered in MacPractice
Brand:Â Name of the medication.
Route:Â Route selected in the medication
Dispense:Â Dispense number from the medication
Refills:Â Number of refills allowed for the medication.
Standard Dose:Â Dose for the medication, as entered in the Dose field.
Measure:Â Information entered in the Measurement field of the medication
Dose Calculation:Â Selection in the Dose Calc pop-up button.
Frequency:Â Selection in the Frequency pop-up button.
Take:Â Number entered in the Take field of the mediation
Duration:Â Number entered in the Duration (Days) field on the medication
Freehand Signature:Â Pulls any text entered in the Freehand Signature field of the medication
Special Instructions:Â Lists any Special Instructions entered in the medication
May Substitute: If the May Substitute checkbox on the patient's medication record under the Medications node of the Rx ability is checked, May substitute will be displayed on the note. If the box is unchecked No Substitution-Medically Necessary will display on the note.
National Drug Code:Â Lists the National Drug Code associated with the selected medication.
