Attachment associated to the wrong patient

At times, when scanning or adding attachments to the MacPractice Attachment Ability, a patient will be selected who was not the intended patient. This will result in the attachment being assigned to the wrong patient.

To quickly assign the attachment to a different patient, take the following steps:

• With the patient attachment selected, select the arrow near the patient name, above the Attachment Type drop down menu.

• A patient selector pop-up window will now appear, where you can search for the correct patient. Once you select the patient and press 'ok,' MacPractice will reassign to the newly selected patient.
