In December 2016, MacPractice made some changes to the way Immunizations are entered to comply with new government standards. Please check with State Registries to ensure that all local requirements are met.

The Immunization section is used to display and add patient immunization records.

Tap the Immunizations list header to add a new immunization. Once selected, tap the Done button. Within the immunization list, enter information in the Date, Time, Ordered, Administered, Lot, Exp. Date, Dose, Unit, Route, Site, Reaction, Status, and Source fields.

The Records from the past field filters the Immunization records list displayed by time. Tap the quantity field to select a number from the How Many menu. Next, tap the unit field to set the time units in the Take menu.

Tap the Pull from Chart button to list all immunization records for the patient from the database. Tap the desired immunization record in the Pull from Chart menu to add it to the list. Repeat the process to add additional immunizations to the list.

The Immunization section uses iEHR interaction Pulling Data.
