The Chart Without Tooth button is used to chart exams and radiology visits. These procedures do not include a tooth number when being sent to insurance. If a user has a tooth selected when charting an office visit, the tooth number will be sent on the claim causing a rejection. Do not select all of the teeth when creating an office visit charge. This action will create 32 office visits with a different tooth number in each procedure. Simply select the Chart Without Tooth button and navigate to the exam or radiology menu in the Charting Menu.
