Build 15.18.7-13

IMPORTANT FOR INOVALON CLIENTS:

Upon updating to Build 15.18.7 or above, RUNNING THE PHASE 1 ONBOARDING CURLS FOR INOVALON AFTER AN UPDATE IS NO LONGER REQUIRED.

RUNNING THESE CURLS ON BUILD 15.18.7 or higher will result in eClaims failing to submit. Please contact MacPractice Support if you have inadvertently taken this step!

  • We’ve implemented support for ERA retrieval in MacPractice. You will no longer need to manually import your ERAs into MacPractice.

    • After update, when you first send claims or retrieve ERA reports via the eClaims Ability > Reports > Select Inovalon Template > Click Retrieve, all ERAs from the last 60 days that you may have manually imported will be re-imported. Be mindful of this, as all these freshly imported ERAs will need to be manually shifted to the Completed Bin in the ERA Manager.

eClaims

  • Made some changes to the default submission and retrieval locations for certain templates to avoid any manual adjusting of these fields for clients who are already submitting claims. This means the warning regarding template configuration settings in Build 15.18.6 can be disregarded as these values should be set appropriately from the onset. (MAC-2718)

  • Added FI (Federal Employees Program) to MacPractice’s Claim Filing Indicator Codes, which are selectable in the Insurance Company Reference under the Claims Tab > Plan Type selector (MAC-2626)

  • You no longer will need to run the Phase 1 curl when updating MacPractice.

If you update to Build 15.18.6+ and if you submit to Inovalon, you may need to re-enter your template configuration settings. These requirements are outlined in this article: eClaim Changes in Build 15.18.6+

Your username and password should carry into the new build and shouldn’t need to be re-entered. If this is not the case, contact MacPractice Support for assistance.
