Notes Ability

• Addressed an issue where if you had re-ordered the column order in the sidebar of the Notes Ability, upon log out and back in, this column order would not be remembered. 

• Addressed an issue with a Perio Chart pull field in the Notes Ability not pulling in the chart image as expected. 

References - Fee Schedules

• Corrected an issue when selecting a Fee Schedule where in some unique circumstances, MacPractice could unexpectedly quit.

Schedule Ability

• Addressed a formatting issue with a header or a footer in an Appointment Display block with a lot of characters, where the text wouldn't display as expected.

• Fixed an issue where if you right clicked an appointment and selected Go To > EHR, MacPractice would unexpectedly quit in some circumstances.

After updating to Build 15.5.1-10, you MUST update your codes on the MacPractice Server, otherwise errors will occur. You can do so by following the instructions presented in this linked article.

Build 15.5.1 contains CCDA changes in compliance with the Cures Act. Updating to this build will impact EHR and EMR/EDR form templates. Please read this article for instructions to update your form templates.

Patients

• Added a new "Patient Consent" sub-tab to the Patients Tab of the Patients Ability, allowing the user to set whether data can be safely shared with other clinicians or not.

• Made updates to exported CCDA/Clinical records to allow a "unspecified" allergy severity type in records in the Allergies Widget. This is also now included on the CCDA.

• Addressed an issue when printing an Account Statement, where if a payment that is at least $2000 is posted to the Account but only $1000 of it is applied, the Total Payment will have a space after the comma in error.

• Resolved an issue when editing a medication from the EHR Ability under an Incident, where MacPractice could unexpectedly quit in some circumstances.

• Added a new "Order Status" Reference category to be used in conjunction with the Orders Ability's Order Status field. You can also use the Inspector drawer to search for patients with a specific Order Status by selecting the Order Status node in References.

• In the Insurance Company Reference category, added a new "Eligibility NPI Override" selector to be used in cases when some insurances require Provider NPI for eligibility checking even if the provider has Bill as Individual selected. 

Rx Ability

• Resolved an issue where MacPractice could unexpectedly quit when attempting to print prescriptions in some cases.

• Addressed an issue where in the On Call node, the Start and End Time fields were not always editable in error.

• Addressed an issue with the Move Patient to another Account DB Utility. Now, if the patient has no provider set, an alert will appear to set a valid provider to the patient to avoid issues when completing the move.

EMR

• Added a brief 3-second delay after creating a patient form from a template, as prior to this change, accidental double or triple clicks were causing multiple extraneous patient forms to be generated in error.

iEHR

• Addressed an issue with the signature box not displaying a correct narrative, either in its section on the form view or when on the narrative view. 

Ledger

• Taxable charges should now display correctly in the Charges Window. 

• Users should no longer be able to rebuild treatment plans on locked accounts. 

• A user can now post $0 payments if necessary. 

• If an Incident is archived and then unarchived, MacPractice should no longer unexpectedly quit. 

• Resolved an issue with printing an Insurance Tracer, where if you cancel and repeat the step to Print an Insurance Tracer, MacPractice could unexpectedly quit.

• Resolved an issue when attempting to navigate to a Patient via the Inspector drawer, say for example when selecting an Insurance Company in References. By double clicking a patient's name in the Inspector, you would not always be taken to the appropriate account in error. 

• Addressed a tooltip sizing issue in some areas of the software. 

• Resolved a display issue that could occur when using the Inspector button in the lower left to expand or collapse the Inspector pane in some situations. 

• Expanded the Group ID fields to contain up to 30 characters (from 25). This will also reflect in paper forms.

• Addressed some issues with expanding/contracting the Inspector Pane after resizing the pane in some scenarios. 

Patients

• Corrected an issue where the user would not be able to re-order Account Alerts and save them as expected. 

• Addressed an issue when interacting with the Details button next to the Birth Date field in the Patients Ability, where MacPractice could unexpectedly quit in some cases. 

References - Users

• When printing the Users Node in the References Ability, the Archived and Inactive status of users should now be captured in the print.

• Addressed an issue with the Statement Code and Diagnosis form, where only four diagnosis codes would pull onto the form in error.
