Build 15.5.1-10

After updating to Build 15.5.1-10, you MUST update your codes on the MacPractice Server, otherwise errors will occur. You can do so by following the instructions presented in this linked article.

Build 15.5.1 contains CCDA changes in compliance with the Cures Act. Updating to this build will impact EHR and EMR/EDR form templates. Please read this article for instructions to update your form templates.

Miscellaneous

  • Addressed an issue where compliance scans would not succeed without some manual edits to apache config in some cases.

  • Addressed an issue when running the "Update Bill as Individual" Database Utility where newly created Providers would not work as expected.

  • Made changes across several abilities to implement CCDA changes to comply with USCDI standards.

  • Resolved an issue where in some rare cases, after installing a fresh copy of MacPractice, logging into MP would cause an unexpected quit.

Build 15.5.0-71

Clinical

  • Adjusted the Allergy Severity Type in the Allergies widget to default to "Unspecified" when adding a new Allergy record. These changes will also impact EMR Patient Forms.

  • Adjusted exported CCDA records to ensure they include the original claim Transaction Reference number.

EMR

  • Addressed a quirk with the procedure date field on a Patient Form, where if you hit the Backspace key, it would remove the entire procedure date instead of a single digit in error.

EHR

  • Addressed an error that could occur when checking the "Administered during visit" on a prescription record.

ePrescribe

  • Addressed an issue where the Prescribed Date of a prescription would not sync from NewCrop in error. We also changed the Prescribed Date field title to "Effective Date".

Forms

  • Addressed an issue with some Account Statement forms where if a payment with a write off was included on the account statement, there would be an amount shown under "Insurance Paid" for the write-off record in error.

Patients

  • Added a new "Patient Consent" sub-tab to the Patients Tab of the Patients Ability, allowing the user to set whether data can be safely shared with other clinicians or not.

  • No labels
