Preconfigured Section - Smoking Status

The Smoking Status section sets the patient's current smoking status and creates a smoking status entry in the Smoking tab of a patient's Clinical view in MacPractice. 

Open

Tap the Smoking Status field to select a current smoking status from the Smoking Status menu.

If relevant, tap the Start Date field to enter a smoking start date from the Start Date menu.

If relevant, tap the Quit Date to enter a smoking quit date from the End Date menu.

If cessation counseling was offered, tap the Cessation Counseling Offered checkbox. Next, tap the Date Offered field to add the date on which the counseling was offered to the patient.
