iPad Interface - Logging In

Before you can begin using the MacPractice iPad interface, you must log in using a valid MacPractice username and password combination.

Note: The default admin username and password have been disabled. If you wish to log into the user called "admin" on the iPad interface, you must change the password.

  1. Open the Safari browser on your iPad and go to https://yourmacpracticeserveripaddress/ipad. If you are accessing the interface from outside of the office, you will want to use your external IP address. If you are within the office network, or accessing the interface via a VPN, enter the MacPractice server's internal IP address.

  2. Enter your username and password.

  3. Tap the Log In button.

Once you are logged in to the iPad interface, tap the Log Out button on the toolbar to log out of the interface. You can also configure your preferences so you are automatically logged out after a given amount of time.
