Sunbit - Patient Financing Plans for MacPractice
What is Sunbit?
Sunbit is a financing program that Dental Offices can offer to their patients to provide financing plans to pay their bills. It’s geared towards patients with lower credit scores and only does a soft credit check to provide your patients an option to pay their bill on a monthly basis.
Sunbit only partners with Dental Offices.
Once patients are approved for financing after completing an application, Sunbit will issue payment in full to your office and Sunbit will then be responsible for collection, improving your office efficiency, and providing your patients with additional payment options.
I’m interested in Sunbit Services! How can I enroll in this service?
Please contact the MacPractice Sales team at Sales@macpractice.com for more information and pricing details.
How can I learn to use Sunbit Services?
Once enrolled, Sunbit will provide an iPad to your office. This iPad will be used for in-office patients wanting to apply for Sunbit financing.
Sunbit’s training team will also provide full training on their services and in the use of this iPad, and will provide a unique link tied to your office to be used for patients to pre-qualify for financing prior to their visit.
We recommend adding this link to any patient communication and reminder services your office may be using such as MacPractice Engage.
How to add links to reminder templates in MacPractice Engage
If your office also has MacPractice Engage enabled on your license, and once you’ve received your Sunbit link, you may want to consider adding this link to some of your confirmation and reminder templates. This link will allow your patients to pre-qualify for financing prior to their visit to your office.
You can make changes to your message templates by logging into your MacPractice Engage portal, then navigating to the Settings tab. Under “Message Settings” in the sidebar, you’ll see “Email & SMS Templates”, as shown in the image below:
Once you’re here, you can then utilize the “Choose Message Type drop down to select the type of message you’d like to review. Once you’ve selected a type, there’ll be an additional drop down to select a Message Template of that type. Once it’s selected, you can then utilize the editor copy and paste the link and any verbiage you’d like to include on your messages.
Important: Make sure you SAVE any changes by scrolling down to the bottom below the editor view and clicking the “SAVE” button.
Please be aware that posting a link in an SMS template will count towards the character limit for SMS messages, so we recommend appending this link to email messages only.
