• Addressed a scenario where a negative balance could be incorrectly created when deleting an applied positive adjustment in some cases.

• Added an indicator to all Provider selectors to indicate if a set Provider for a given item has been archived or not. 

• Corrected an issue when using the Camera Button in the lower left of MacPractice, where the image capture window would not stay focused in error. 

• Resolved a Camera Button issue where if you rapidly toggle between expand and minimize, the window could close and MacPractice could potentially unexpectedly quit.

• Adjusted a behavior in search fields when searching for a phone number, if no dashes are included, the phone number should still search correctly. 

Patients

• Addressed a sizing issue in the Communications Tab of the Patients Ability.

References

• Resolved an issue with long care slip form names pushing other fields out of the window view in error.

References - Forms

• Corrected an issue where MacPractice could unexpectedly quit when moving a pull field on a form.

Reports - Referrals

• Removed the Charges and Payments columns from the Patient Charges by Referrer report.

Rx

• Addressed an issue when adding an active med to a patient's record, where if that medication was searched for in the Inspector view via References, the patient's name would not be associated with that medication in error.

• Adjusted the behavior when printing, where the print settings will now match what Resources you have checked or unchecked initially. 

Scheduling - Transparencies

• Addressed an issue with overlapping appointments with a transparency block where the "Confirm Appointment" rule wasn't being honored.

• Resolved an issue where MacPractice would spin perpetually when charting certain procedures in some situations. 

Digital Radiography

• Added an alert when importing more than 20 images, warning the user that this will be slower and recommends importing less than 20 at a time.

EMR/EDR

• Resolved an issue with the Charting View pull field on the Form Narrative.

• Adjusted behavior of Providers associated to Patient Forms, where inactive and archived providers will display in the Provider field, but the field will be disabled. (No Ticket #)

Installer

• Addressed some issues that could occur when installing or updating MacPractice.

• Corrected an issue when attempting to Go To Attachment from an HL7 message's Attachments Tab.

• Resolved an issue where if in Preferences, "Remember Last Ability" is enabled, and you log out and back in while in the References Ability, MacPractice would unexpectedly quit when trying to load both References and Release Notes at the same time. (No ticket #)

• Users that are tied to EMR/EDR forms can now be archived. 

• If a user had a particularly large name, their entry in the Time Clock Management "Reports to Manager" drop down would clip into the interface. This has been corrected. 

• :)Resolved an issue when exporting some Reports, where if you made a list from one report and exported it in the Lists Window, then did the same steps, on the second export attempt you would not be able to include the Report data in error.  

Rx

• Addressed an issue when renewing a Rx record after printing it in some circumstances. 

Scheduling

• Addressed some issues with printing a Scheduling Resource on dark mode. 

• Addressed a display issue the Transparency Type node under the Rules Tab, where the Unit Fee would not display in dollar amounts in error. 

Time Clock

• Added a folder icon to the Timesheet Reports node in the sidebar of the Time Clock ability to match the other nodes.

Dental - Restorative Charting

• Addressed an issue where if you toggle a tooth to Watch in the Completed Procedures node fo the Dental Tab, then added a Clinical Note to that tooth, MP would unexpectedly quit.

• Addressed an issue with the Inventory Ability audit feature. 

• Corrected a sidebar issue in the Inventory Ability. 

Ledger

• Addressed an issue when attempting to print/generate a claim in the Ledger via the Print Menu, where if no default insurance claim form is set, the user would have to set it in Preferences. Now, a prompt will appear allowing the user to select the default claim form.

• Addressed an issue with closed claims not changing to the appropriate color in error. 

Managers - Database Utilities

• Addressed an issue when using the Delete Archived Attachments utility with NEA Attachments.

Managers - Statements

• Addressed an issue in the Statements Manager where you couldn't sort the table by the Print column. 

Orders

• Addressed an issue where orders assigned to archived users are showing blank. 

Patient Portal

• Fixed an issue if in Preferences > Forms, the Patient Portal User Info form is set to "None", where if you change a Portal User's password and use the "Print Portal User Info" option, the user wasn't prompted to set the form.

Preferences

• Added a description to HL7 preferences, and also addressed a sizing issue in HL7 preferences.

• Adjusted some Preference sections to be more visually consistent on Big Sur. 

• Addressed some display issues in Ledger Preferences > New Charge Tab. 

Schedule

• Added the ability to Option-Click a selected scheduled appointment to open the Quicklook view.

• Addressed an issue when printing On Calls.

Server Management App

• Addressed an issue after updating MacPractice where the NGINX process would not restart as expected.

References - Users

• Changed the Professional Title field label to Prefix to better indicate the intent for this field. 

• Adjusted the behavior of archiving users with open orders. A prompt will now appear alerting the user to the open orders that need to be resolved prior to archiving the user.

Time Clock

• Addressed some display issues in the Time Clock edit window.

• Resolved an issue when using the LiveChat functionality by popping the bubble in MacPractice, where the office information would not auto-populate as expected.

• Added a "Clear User Locks" database utility, which allows a user with Super Admin privileges to break user locks currently active. 

• Addressed an issue with the Delete Archived Attachments utility, so NEA image attachments are not deleted via this utility. 

• Addressed an issue when using the Delete Archived Attachments utility with NEA Attachments.

Managers - ERA Manager

• Made some backend improvements. You should see some major performance improvements when interacting with the ERA Manager.

Optical

• Resolved an issue with providers that are marked inactive would not be shown on tied Optical Rx records.

• Addressed an issue where archived providers were still selectable when creating new records.

Reports - History

• Addressed an issue where if a Patient Photo is deleted, that act of deletion was not captured in the History Report as expected. 

Schedule

• Added the ability to Option-Click a selected scheduled appointment to open the Quicklook view.

Sidebar

• Addressed an issue when adjusting the font in Preferences > Sidebar, where MacPractice could unexpectedly quit in the Reports Ability with certain fonts. 

• Resolved a display issue where if a patient has a label applied to them, and a label applied to an prescription, in rare circumstances the patient could appear twice in the sidebar visually in error. 

Ticket Submission / Bubble Pop

• Resolved an issue when popping the bubble and selecting Livechat, where the Livechat window would appear behind the MacPractice window in error.

• Corrected an issue with processing TSYS refunds over $1000.

• Removed the "None" option when archiving a provider and then selecting a new provider for any connected patients to use, as this should not be a valid option.

• Addressed an issue when deactivating a provider, where the user would be prompted that there are accounts tied to this provider, but this prompt is suppressible when it shouldn't be.

Preferences - Server Backup

• Adjusted the behavior when restoring an encrypted backup, where if the user erroneously enters the password, the user is prompted to re-enter the password instead of having to attempt restoring again. 

References - Fee Schedules

• Renamed the "Require Copay" checkbox to "Charge Copay" to better reflect the intent behind the checkbox.

References - Users

• Addressed an issue when copying and pasting into the Claim Credentials fields in the Users Node > Provider Tab. 

• Addressed an issue when logging out of MacPractice then back in with the same username, the user would get an erroneous alert indicating they were already logged in. 

Reports - Production Analysis

• Resolved an issue on builds of 12.11 where if you navigated to the Production Detailed by Procedure Report and toggled the Include Modifiers checkbox off and on, a syntax error would trigger. 

Scheduling

• Addressed an issue with the Appointment Quicklook view, where the Notes field would not allow the user to enter spaces.

Interface Change - Inspector Button

• The Inspector button in the lower left  corner of the MacPractice Menu is being removed. Not to fear, however! You can easily access the Inspector by clicking on the icon in the lower right corner of the MacPractice Window. The behavior within the Inspector is the same as before.

Ledger

• Enabled the Admitted and Discharge Date fields in the Charge Window. These fields are normally not present in MacPractice DDS, but we have adjusted this so they are now available on  MacPractice DDS. 

• Addressed an issue with Anesthesia procedures that record anesthesia times that cross dates, where a user would be unable to save these kinds of charges.

Notes

• Adjusted the prompt when importing a Note Template via the File Menu > Import > Note Template. The "OK" button has been changed to "Save" to better reflect that changes are made. 

Managers - Collections

• Addressed formatting issues in the Debt column of the Collections Manager. 

Managers - ERA Manager

• Resolved an issue with ERAs not loading as intended. 

References - Users

• Addressed an issue with the Inspector "Log In Report"  when a User is selected in the References Ability. This Inspector report was not always displaying a date range as expected. 

Reports - Management

• Addressed an issue with the User Activity Report where plan names in the Insurance Carrier column were not displaying as intended. 

Schedule

• Addressed an issue where if a patient's phone extension number is higher than 7 digits, that extension would only display the 7 digits in the Advanced View of the Schedule when looking at the Patient Tab. 

• Adjusted the right click menu when right-clicking  on a day in the Calendar Node. The "Go To Calendar" option is now correctly named "Go To Appointments". 

Server Management App

• Adjusted the behavior of the Server Management App when MacPractice is closed. Now, the SMA window will not close and will remain open instead.

TSYS

• Addressed a formatting issue in the payment window where the comma was not included for currency amounts $1,000 and higher in some areas of the interface.
