Clinical Info Button

The Info button is a content retrieval system which uses the patient's information to locate relevant clinical decision support information from online health knowledge resources, such as the National Library of Medicine, Veterans Administration, National Institute of Health, or health systems at various universities. The resources from which content can be retrieved are defined in References > Info Button Resources.

Open

Click the Info button next to any clinical set within the Clinical Summary to check the resources for contextually relevant information.

In the resulting window, each unique patient variable within the clinical set will display. Click the disclosure triangle next to any variable to display all results found from the online knowledge results. When a selected resource is given to the patient, select the Gave Resource to Patient checkbox at the bottom right of the window.
