Common Rejections - Final Denial - See Remit

Rejection Message:

  • FINAL/DENIAL - FOR MORE DETAILED INFORMATION, SEE REMITTANCE ADVICE

This rejection is a courtesy rejection, to inform the user that either an EOB or an ERA should be expected, explaining the payer's denial of the claim.

Usually with a denial the payer doesn't bother to send claim reports back to the practice. They send an EOB/ERA that will give an overview of the denial; including a reason for denial. Some payers will send back a claim report noting that the claim was denied and that the practice should review the EOB/ERA for more information.

Note: If further explanation is needed for any denial, please contact the payer directly.
