What is Secondary Claims (Warning) in New Claims Manager?
What is Secondary Claims (Warning) in New Claims Manager?
When running the New Claims Manager, sometimes a checkbox will appear that indicates "Secondary Claims (Warning)".
This occurs based off of the preference settings in Preferences > Managers, under the "Claim Manager" heading.
When all of the selected criteria match a previously submitted insurance claim, the New Claims Manager will present the potential problem claims in the results table, highlighted in yellow. Unchecking all other criteria except for "Secondary Claim (Warning)" will isolate these claims. The user can then go to the patient record for each claim to verify whether or not they indeed do wish to create and send these secondary claims.
