Patient Selector

• Addressed a visual issue when clicking on the Patient Selector and then typing into the subsequent search field in the Patient Selector window, where the window would flash after typing three or more characters. This fix also addresses a potential freeze when switching patients. (MAC-3387)

Digital Radiography

• Resolved an issue where on Build 16 and MacOS Sonoma, the full screen view would appear completely blank in error. (MAC-3016)

eClaims

• Made an adjustment to dental templates so providers no longer need to register their NPI number for claim submission. (MAC-3305)

EHR

• Addressed an issue where the diagnosis code in the Encounter Diagnosis section would fail to appear on printouts (PDF and paper) of the narrative. (MAC-3178

EMR/EDR

• Addressed an issue where the tops and bottoms of EMR and EDR forms would be cut off when printing narratives to paper or PDF. (MAC-3309)

• Addressed an issue when printing multiple Patient forms via the EMR/EDR Menu > Print Patient’s Patient Forms option, where text in the narratives on the resulting printouts would be cut off in error. (MAC-3141)

HL7

• Made adjustments to HL7 messages to ensure that the PV1 segment is pulling into message types as expected. (MAC-1160)

Notes

• Corrected some issues with the pull field for EMR / EDR Narratives and how the pulled information would be formatted and spaced. (MAC-3168)

eClaims

• Made some changes to how we handle Dental Claims retrieval data from ECG/CHC to better accommodate CHC changes. (MAC-3184)

Miscellaneous

• Updated Build 16.7 to the default MacPractice build. Apps for this build have been uploaded to the App Store.

• Added a new option to aid bridge syncing behavior for SpringCharts. (MAC-3205)

Attachments

• Addressed an issue where Attachments with certain file names would not be able to be previewed in Apple’s Preview App after uploading the attachment on MacOS Sonoma. (MAC-2940)

Notes

• Addressed an issue when a note is locked in the Notes Ability, where the user would not be able to view the contents of the locked note in error. (MAC-2941)

Dental

• Resolved an issue where the Clinical Note Table would not display in error in some cases on Build 16.3.0 and 16.7.0. (MAC-2879)

Miscellaneous

• Addressed an issue with the MacPractice uninstaller, where intermittently on various builds, when the uninstaller is run, not all data would be removed, necessitating a second execution of the uninstaller. (MAC-2816)

Notes

• Corrected an issue where if you import a multiple page PDF into a Note, where in some circumstances, the pages would not display as expected. (MAC-2911) (MAC-2893)

• Addressed an issue where only one category was able to be displayed at once in error. (MAC-2880)

Reports

• Addressed an issue with the Unapplied Balance report timing out when run on very large data sets or date ranges. (MAC-2885)

Attachments

• Resolved a “File not found on server” error that could occur in some circumstances when loading an attachment. (MAC-2408)

Dental

• Corrected an issue with the Clear Pre-existing selections in the Charting Menu not removing previous work as expected. (MAC-2629)

eClaims

• Added FI (Federal Employees Program) to MacPractice’s Claim Filing Indicator Codes, which are selectable in the Insurance Company Reference under the Claims Tab > Plan Type selector (MAC-2626)

• We’ve updated the Template Configuration window in the eClaims Ability to better accommodate the needs of different clearinghouses. You can read more about these changes here:

• Corrected an issue where if there was an incorrect password entered for a template, the user would see a “data not read correctly” error and spinning instead of seeing the error log. (MAC-2563)

• Added additional information to the Audit view when selecting a claim that was sent to Inovalon, to include status changes and tied report messages. (MAC-2674)

EDR & EMR

• Addressed an issue on earlier 16.x builds where the EMR and EDR forms, templates, and patient forms would not be viewable in error. (MAC-2493)

ePrescribe

• Made an adjustment to the ePrescribe window so that when you’ve accessed ePrescribe for a specific user, another ePrescribe user would not be allowed to access ePrescribe for that patient due to the patient lock. We’ve also adjusted it so that if a user navigates away from the ePrescribe view on the first window/computer, it will now release that lock. (MAC-2302)

Help Menu

• Addressed an issue when trying to access the MacPractice HelpDesk from our Help Menu. The software will now open your default web browser to open the HelpDesk and Release Notes now. (MAC-2322)(MAC-2602)

iEHR App

• Improved the peformance when selecting “Add Form to Incident” in the Choose Template window. (MAC-2414)

Installer

• Updated the Client Installer language to reference minimum OS requirements. (MAC-2783)

Ledger

• Resolved an issue with treatments added to a Treatment Plan and then scheduled via the Schedule button at the top of the Phase in the ledger when using a particular workflow. This issue could cause treatments to be linked to the appointment, regardless of which patient actually has the treatment. (MAC-2494)

• Corrected an issue that could cause a “data could not be read” error when processing refunds. (MAC-2463)

Miscellaneous

• Corrected an issue when using the File Menu’s “Export > Notes as PDF” selection, where the filtered date range would not include the last day of a date range in the results in error. (MAC-472)

MP Engage

• Resolved an issue where, upon updating to Build 15.18.3, after setting up MP Engage users would not be able to search for patients or appointments on the Engage portal in error. (MAC-2435)

Patients Ability - Referrals

• Addressed an issue where if the first referral record for a patient is inactive, the Appointment Display blocks in the Schedule would not pull the Referring Doctor info when it is set as a text item to display. (MAC-164)

References - Fee Schedules

• Addressed an issue where if you printed a Fee Schedule and used the “Fees with Unit Fee > 0 option”, Fees with a unit fee of 0 would still be included. (MAC-330)

References - Forms

• Addressed an issue where on specific versions of Sonoma, when selecting a form in the Forms node of the References Ability, the view or edit windows displaying the form would be shaded blue in error. (MAC-2528)

• Corrected an issue with Custom pull fields not displaying data as expected. (MAC-2170)

Reports

• Made some updates to the date sheet reports to ensure that insurance payments that have been refunded to patient credit are represented properly.(MAC-432)

Schedule

• Addressed an issue with the Schedule view not displaying on earlier builds of 16.x. (MAC-2480)

Server Backups

• Addressed an issue where backup processes were not starting as expected at planned backup times in certain circumstances. (MAC-2802)
