Networking - Check the Internet Connection

MacPractice itself requires a working Ethernet connection, provided by the Internal Network. If you are attempting to use MacPractice abilities that require an internet connection and having difficulty accessing them, an unstable internet connection could be the cause. To confirm the internet connection, click on Safari or another internet browser. When the browser opens, confirm connection on a web page other then the home page (such as macpractice.com or http://apple.com ).

If you are not able to get a connection, the web page may look like this:

 

Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) for assistance. Once a stable internet connection is obtained, you should have no issue using MacPractice abilities that require internet access. If difficulties persist after the internet connection issue is resolved, please see Confirm the MacPractice Server IP Address or contact MacPractice Support at (877) 220-8418.
