EHR Preconfigured Section - Attachments

The Attachments section is used to add images or documents pertaining to the patient's visit. Attachments added here will then be added to the Attachments ability for that patient. PDF documents can be added to this section, but multi-page attachments will only display the first page. Any subsequent pages will need to be accessed via the Attachments ability. Attachments that already exist for the patient can be pulled into the form manually.

This section CANNOT be used on Clipboard forms (Not a patient-facing section).

This section CANNOT be used on Patient Portal forms.

The contents of this section are as follows:

"Attachments" hyperlink: In the resulting popover, select one of two options to add attachment images or documents to the form
- Browse...: Allows the user to add image or document files stored on that computer.
- Take Picture...: Allows the user to take a picture through the camera on the iPad, computer, or a externally attached camera (such as a USB webcam).
Data Pulling popover (in top-right corner of section): Select to preview and pull from existing patient attachments or attachments added to past patient forms.

If this icon show as blue, this means there are existing attachments that can be pulled into the section. If this icon show as black, this indicates that there are no previous attachments tied to this patient.

When pulling in existing attachments, you will see two tabs at the top of the popover:

Pull From Chart: allows the user to pull in attachments located in the Attachments ability
Pull From Existing Form: allows the user to pull attachments added to previous patient forms
