Anti-depressant Medication Management Report

Overview
This report tracks the Percentage of patients 18 years of age and older who were treated with antidepressant medication, had a diagnosis of major depression, and who remained on an antidepressant medication treatment.
Two rates are reported.
A. Percentage of patients who remained on an antidepressant medication for at least 84 days (12 weeks).
B. Percentage of patients who remained on an antidepressant medication for at least 180 days (6 months).
A patient will be in the denominator when they have all of the following:
An age 18 or older
A visit during your reporting period
An Antidepressant Medication with a Dispensed Date between 245 days (8 months) prior to the reporting period and 120 days (4 months) into the reporting period.
A Depression Diagnosis with an Onset Date within 60 days before or after the Start Date of their medication.
A patient will be in the numerator when they have all of the following:
Numerator 1- An Antidepressant medication prescribed for at least 84 days (12 weeks) (This will be calculated when the medication has a Start Date, is made Inactive, and has an End Date.)
Numerator 2- An Antidepressant medication prescribed for at least 180 days (6 months) (This will be calculated when the medication has a Start Date, is made Inactive, and has an End Date.)
