This rejection is stating that one or more of the state abbreviations that were sent were invalid. Go to the Patient ability for the selected patient and verify that the State is accurately entered into the field for 'State'. In addition, check the insurance reference to make sure that the payer address also has the correct state abbreviation entered.
Note:Â If there is a plan set for the patient, there is an additional 'demographics' tab under the plan tab in the insurance reference that will need to be altered.
